Option 1) Cute little boxes filled with champagne truffles, and a tiny note saying, “Thank you for sharing in our day.”

Option 2) Mini-cookbook, filled with recipes that our relatives are notorious for making. Compete w/tiny pictures and probably made and bound at Kinkos.
Ex. “Aunt Sue’s Provolone Macaroni.”
–> This is DF’s vote because he says my family loves cooking and hosting parties, and because he is an Executive Chef.
Please don’t say, “don’t bother with favors at all… they’ll be thrown away or left behind.” To me, a favor is a way of thanking my guests for attending my wedding and supporting our union. I wouldn’t dream of not having them.
The candy will be eaten and forgotten- however, the cookbooks will become cherished mementos. Especially considering the fact your hubby to be in a chef, it really personalizes it. Even the groom should make his mark on the day! Maybe you could include recipes of things similar to what you are serving for dinner or the recipe for your signature drinks!!
