I’m getting married!!! Info needed for a wedding planning organizer?
I’m going to pick up a day planner/note book and use it for my planner. What are the sections that I should create?
Budget, guest list, attendants, venues, churches, photography, music, transportation, cakes, rings, dresses, tuxes, honeymoon, registry information, timeline, eventually seating chart.
My paper planner (which never leaves my side, though I also use my iPhone for a great deal of it) has a section for every single detail of our wedding. Anytime I see anything in a magazine or online I print it out, hole punch it and put it in my bridal binder. I have special sleeves in the beginning of each section where I put my top picks (I’m a little OCD if you haven’t noticed). I also have my WEDDING tab which is where I have all of my confirmed vendor information and random notes and junk that are pertinent for our day.
They sell the organizers (like mine) that zip close so it can hold a great deal of stuff. Get one of these! There a little pricey but its worth it.
Mine has a calculator, 3 hole punch, pens, business card slots and a bunch of other stuff. If you want to get really neurotic, you can get sheets of personal checks made so that you can Make Your payments right from your planner. Think its crazy? I know people who have done this!
