Does anyone think we obsess over our weddings?
My mom told me yesterday that I’m obsessed with my wedding and getting married. I’ve already looked through thousands of dresses, bridesmaid dresses, Flower Girl dresses, invitations, and the like. I’ve started a notebook and when I get my printer up and running I’m going to print off all the pictures I have saved on my computer and add the to the notebook. But I’m not just obsessed about the wedding. I keep looking at stuff I’d like to register for that my fiance would like to have and that would make our lives comfortable. We’ve been looking at houses and I’ve been reading books about living “green”. I’m excited about the marriage mostly and we often talk about our future and after the wedding. I don’t really see how this is obsessing much since I am planning a wedding and all.
Anyway, what are the things about your wedding that you’ve been “obsessing” over?
Yes, it is on my mind all of my spare time. I think people get tired of hearing about it! I have my venue, dress, and bridesmaids dresses already, and it is still a year away! I just think about how it will look and how many people will show up. I’m still searching through thousands of pictures for my bouquet, flower girl dresses, dj, the music I’ll be playing, my cake, grooms cake, and things like that. So much to choose from, and I want it to be perfect.. well at least to me.
Yes, like “true” said, THE GUEST LIST. we will be having about 150-200 people, it is so hard to get everyones names spelled correctly and all of their numbers and addresses! Way harder to plan a wedding than I expected! (but still fun)
