wedding planning horror stories
Anyone know of any decent all inclusive places in mexico that you would reccomend? Or any to keep away from?

My fiance and I are trying to plan a wedding..but its too much of a headache..we decided to say F it… and just get married on what was gonna be our honey moon. We want to go to mexico for 8-10 days, get married and have our honeymoon all in one shot…anyone have any good ideas or horror stories to stay away from?? I just started searching all inclusive mexico resorts…and boy is it overwhelming!!!

I can definately recommend a destination spot…Playa Del Carmen. I was there with my husband for 8 days and it was awesome. It is sort of secluded, but only about 45 minutes from Cancun. So, close enough to the clubs, etc but far enough away to feel like you can relax. This club scene in Cancun can be overwhelming if you are considering staying for your entire trip. But, it is SO cheap to rent a jeep and drive into Cancun for the evening. I wish I could remember the name of our resort, but I know it was a five star.
Another destination I could recommend would be Cozumel. The El Presidente is a wonderful hotel and has a very noce, private beach. Cozumel is a more layed back atmosphere and they have great diving and snorkling. So does Playa Del Carmen. You can take a boat ride over to Cancun from Cozumel and vise versa.
I hope this helps some. I wish I could remember the name of our hotel, but it has been about 9 years!
BTW…I know there is at least 1 “adults only” all-inclusive resorts in Playa which might be nice for your honeymoon :)

Congratulations and Best Wishes!

Congratulations!
