Shower Favors
How do you personalize the Bridal Shower favors?
we are throwing my friend a bridal shower. we plan on getting her personalized candies as favors. we can have 2 messages. we agree one will be “bridal shower.” but i think the other should be “mary & bob”, while my friend thinks it should be just “mary” since the fiance (bob) will not be there and it’s mary’s shower. but bob plays a huge part in why we’re having the shower in the first place, so he should be represented too, i figure.
also, she want’s the ribbons to say “mary smith’s bridal shower” but i think it should not have her last name at all…that’s too formal. what is the proper etiquette in these matters?
Definitely Mary and Bob (if you must have names on them). Since the ribbon will have her name (and I say leave the last name off that…maybe include the date) you could possibly go with an alternative to the Mary and Bob message so that no one wins that argument like:
Congrats!
