Question wedding music?
I have a small wedding (50 people or less) and a suite at the reception. I do not know what to do with music. I really can not afford a DJ so I thought to make playlists and put them on an MP3 player or iPod and do it that way?? more important is the kind of music I should play. I am white and my fiancee is black, we listen to different types of music, but mostly people older R & B. My family are in country music, his family probably not. I play a lot of Stevie Wonder (I'm walking on the tape saying the sky) and some more r & b songs — she is not beautiful, superstition, Marvin Gaye, Luther (If this world was mine) so, I'm young (22) people will see this as weird. Good idea or bad?? Please be respectful! Thank You!
Honestly, it is your wedding. Who cares what your customers think about him. I was a DJ years … mainly in the wedding industry. More and more are doing just that. iPod playlist. Select a wide variety of music. A bit of everything. If people do not like it they can leave. It is not the music you have at the wedding, it is of the memories you leave with.
