For the second consecutive year, Military Training Technology Magazine Awards Ribbon to Sumtotal Systems
Editor software to Exhibit Award-Winning Technology at I / ITSEC 2006 Conference
Military Training Technology magazine and Kerrigan Media International have SumTotal ® Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: Sumter) on Military Training Technology 2006 Top 100 list for second consecutive year. The list includes companies who have contributed significantly to the industry of military training. SumTotal makes software that not only delivers and manages training over the Internet but also automates performance appraisals of employees.
Selection criteria for the list this year included reviews of customers, innovation and volume of arms sales. Military Training Technology magazine also awarded SumTotal an orange ribbon for "Best Programs, "which means a company has been involved with or spearheaded programs that are revolutionizing training for the military. According magazine, SumTotal "received contracts this year from U.S. Northern Command, Defense Security Service, the U.S. Army Military Intelligence School, Defense Acquisition University and Defense Ammunition Center. "

The committee editorial in the magazine and the Independent Panel has also noted SumTotal acquiring MindSolve Technologies Inc., a private company software performance management, describing why SumTotal earned a place on this year's Top 100 list.
