Does anyone know of any high end consignment shops that sell formal wear in Louisville Ky,E-town,or Lexington?
I’m looking for some really nice silver high heels for my daughter to wear for a formal and possibly county fair pageant. She wants rhinestones etc but they are so expensive. I’d love to find some used ones in good shape to save a lil money. Surely with all the proms, weddings etc they have something like this?

There’s place called Plato’s Closet, 2200 Nicholasville Rd. that caters to teens. They might have prom stuff.
Upscale consignment shops: Sassy Fox, 3101 Richmond Road, women’s clothing casual and formal; Apres Vous, 183 Moore Drive, designer clothing including evening wear and jewelry; Stephen Lawrence, Ltd., 1200 South Broadway, top label fashions for women, men, and children.
Don’t forget about local Goodwill stores. Easy enough to pop in and out super fast and see if someone donated something that’s almost new (I know I have).
Stop in a regular shoe store and see if they have any mismatched pairs. Shoe Carnival sells them extra cheap. Most people’s feet are a half sized different. Many Styles you never even notice, like slides or strappy sandals. I got some lace slides for $3 this way at a big city shoe store.
What about “Bedazzling” some shoes? Don’t know if it can be done. But if you get some decent shoes dirt cheap at Goodwill, what’s the harm in trying.
