History
The company pen Parker was founded in 1889 when George Parker, the founder, who was also a selling agent for the John Holland Gold Pen Company has obtained the first patent for the manufacture of a pen. The "Lucky Curve"
The Lucky Curve was the new system Power patented by George Parker in the year 1894. He solved the problem of excess ink left in Food when the pen is capped and placed in the pocket of the user. The expansion of air in the pen when the pen has been in use could lead again the ink out, making a spot on the paper and, inevitably, on the hands of the user as well. Improving Parker was ingenious. He extended the feeder and more in the barrel of the pen and curved extension so that it touched the wall, offering one way capillary action to drain the excess ink off the feed.
