Light Wedding
When do you light the candles in the candelabra at a wedding?
Do the ushers do the lighting? Or do we need to find lighters "separate candle?
The previous post was referring to the "Unity Candle. If you talk about the candles in the candelabra, they are usually lit before people enter the church, about 30 minutes before the ceremony. If people arrive early, I saw an employee of the church to slip and light them, but there were at least 15 minutes before the service starts. They usually leave the lighter up there, so that mothers can light the candle of unity unless your church has to walk with alcolyte true lighter (but I think it's just Methodist)
